interested in taking up the sport of windsurfing in Minnesota...

I am hoping to hook up with some windsurfurfers in the
Minnesota/Wisconsin area that can give me some tips on where to go to
purchase equipment. I live in the Minneapolis area. I am not ready to
spend a lot of money on new equipment and could use some advice. I've
read some about kneesurfing also but have not found a place that sells
them.

Anyone out there that can give me some advice?

Later,
John

John,

There's a pretty active group in the Minnesota area.

Check out www.lakawa.com (Lakes Area Kite And Wind Advisory) for some
local info.
