Cypres vs. Vigil

What does the majority think on this topic?...I had a rigger tell me that
they are both pretty much the same.......except the vigil is a better value
because it doesnt need 4 and 8 year checks, etc......

Re: Cypres vs. Vigil

Hi
I've been looking into this recently, and I think I've concluded the
same.
The Vigil calculates distance/speed slightly differently but the result
is the same.
The other reason the Vigil is better supposedly value is because it is
"multimode", it can be used in student, normal, or tandem rigs (the
argument being that is is easier to resell)
You can also buy software and a download gadget thingie for the Vigil
which downloads very detailed data about the last 16 jumps, if you like
that sort of thing
