French Conventions

Does anyone know where i can get listings for French juggling festivals.

Even better, does anyone know the name of the week long juggling fest that
happens just after the European?

I don't know of any weeklong festival, but there is a traditional
"afterparty" 3 day or so convention Sweden, that last year was also part of
a much larger festival called "SUBÖRB" organized by Cirkus Cirkör, featuring
many shows both of contemporary circus, breakdancing and plenty more. I hear
that this year it will once again happen and I recommend it very very much.
The shows I saw there were some of the most amazing I've ever seen (Les Sept
Doigts De La Main and quite a few others) and the vibe is wonderful. On top
of that the juggling convention there has some amazing Scandinavian talent
that you don't always see at EJCs and other such large gatherings. For me it
was well worth the trip (and quite a trip too - I came from Israel
especially for it, didn't even come to the EJC).

Yup, check this : http://www.jongle.net/index.php?page=liste_convention

It's a bit empty at the moment (as a matter of fact, there's only one
french juggling convention listed and two outside France) but it's bound
to fill up.

You can ask around on the forum too, it's much more lively. Some of us
speak english, so don't be afraid. Conventions are usually announced in
the "Actu de la jongle" subsection.

Or you can send me a mail and I'll do my best to help you.

Guillaume.
