|tsunami - a small gesture|
I have been thinking for days about what I can do to help with the tsunami,
and apart from donating money, couldn't come up with a hell of a lot.
Then I saw an article on one of the news sites this morning about using the
web to help people find their families. A kid in Italy decided to use his
Simpsons tribute site to help people find their families.
I figured if a kid in Italy can do that, why can't I?
I have a small home business, and it has a website. I have decided to make
the initial page of this website a 'noticeboard' for the duration of the
emergency in Asia.
This is NOT an ad for my site, or a clever ploy to make money on my part. I
don't give a shit about that.
There are (as I write this) approximately 120,000 known dead, and probably
5,000,000 displaced people as a direct result of this tragedy. I want to do
something practical to help them.
If you, or anyone you know, has a family member missing and you don't have a
place to put a picture or a message, drop me a line. I will see that it gets
