Tea bagging and Ben Franklin

Was watching a show last night on Ben Franklin. Seems he not only taught
himself how to swim, but fixed up one of his kites in order to have himself
dragged downwind through a lake.

I just finished Walter Isaacson's book on Ben. Great read! He was a extraordinary visionary
and clever beyond most people's comprehension at the time.

Most people don't realize that if it wasn't for Ben's good relations with the French and his
ability to procure millions of livres for the American Patriots back home, we might speaking
with a bit more accent and drinking much more tea.

Yes, truly an amazing man. He was the first person to attempt to map the
Gulf Stream. He was the first person to track low pressures and Nor'easters.
He was the first person to realize that, even though the Nor'easters blew
from the north east, that the systems came from the South west!
