Jeri Brazil

Gonna be in Brazil for a couple weeks in November and hope to score some sailing at Jeri.

Any recommendations on places to stay/eat or travel tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hugh

How long will you stay ?
Will you go only to Jeri or do you intend to travel to some other
places ?
Any non windsurfer ?
Will you bring your gear ?

In short, you can't miss:
- Tatajuba lagoon (in the afetrnoon)
- Naturalmente (restaurant/bar at the beach, crepes !)
- Mamma Rosa Pizzaria
- and you can try do dance/learn some Forro on Wednesday and Saturday.

I was there in 2002 and 2003 so things may have changed.

Rio for a few days. Brasilia for a few days to study the architecture. Then Jeri.

Nope both windsurfers. I'm advanced and will be looking for a wave, she is intermediate.

Nope. Plan to rent.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I'm taking notes.

A little late, but here are links from folders that i found gathering
dust.

Official page of Tourism in Ceará (the state where Jeri is located)
--------------------------------------------------
www.turismo.ce.gov.br

Transfer from Fortaleza to Jeri in an off-road truck:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ricardo Maia (88) 9611-1307 - www.jeriadventure.com -
jeriadventure@hotmail.com

Eduardo pimenta - pimentaeduardo@hotmail.com

www.jericoacoara.tur.br/rotadosol

Some hotels:
www.jericoacoara.tur.br/pousadadoserrote
www.jericoacoara.tur.br/ibirapuera
www.vilakalango.com.br
www.jericoacoara-tirol.com (hostel)

Rentals i lnow there is a Vela operation there and a guy from Tico
Winds (Costa Rica ?) that i think stays in Vila Kalango. Maybe you
find some other info about rentals on the sites above.

Email me and maybe we can do some sailing in Rio de Janeiro.
