Gary
I'm back.

I got cleared yesterday to run, although it will be about two weeks
before I can start running intensive again. I will start swimming and
biking though and ween off those as I build up my mileage. Any
suggestions for training through my senior year?

Happy Thanksgiving,
Gary

I would suggest not to force it, and concentrate on building muscle
strength via exercise. I myself am four weeks after knee surgery,
started very little running on day ten, just a mile or so, increasing
it gradually, but doing weights from the day one. Now I am almost at
my usual level on road and trail.
Congratulations, I know how it feels.

Hey Gary,
Ignore this dunderhead. He knows absolutely nothing about running, nor
shoes, and his advice is a recipe for injury. You are taking advice from a
guy who isn't even qualified as a novice runner.

Feels great. Thankfully I have swim season so that will help alot.
That's the main thing my doctor doesn't want me to start running a
mile until a week or so after running. I have been doing some weight
work and I think that helped me recover faster.
