I can recognize his Wing Chun techniques and the Wing Chun stance.
Remember Emin Boztepe is also Turkish. That is probably his countrymen
follower.

No way BJJ ground fighting can be used in this case against the
multitude.

The cameraman's credit is in Traditional Chinese. The crowd is
speaking Cantonese. The police uniform is standard Hong Kong Police
Force.

I thinks this fight in Hong Kong broke out in a line-up to buy a new
condo unit. The guy's techniques look like Tai Chi Push-Hands (I
learned Push-Hands of few years back).

multitude. Good Post, Wayne.

I think we should re-name the video "When Retards Attack!"
That Turkish guy looked like he was boxing, they were even playing
the Rocky theme.
Still it was nice of those guys to only attack him in ones and twos
and always from the front.

1) All the assailants are dufus (dufi?) and fight like you, Wayne.

2) Had even one known the slightest thing about grappling, he would have been
dead meat.

Is this all you have?

Go visit a Bjj school before what remains of your brain finally atrophies.

The reason why "always from the front" is because he was always
backing away from the crowd so that they are not surrounding him. This
is an important strategy in fighting with multiple opponents.

If you'd like to see him try it, then the correct response is "_do_

OK, for the sake of argument:

A lot of people are dufi. The chances are, if you do get into a fight
it will be against dufi. One-on-one, few people here would have much
trouble against one. Against a group, you still need a standing game -
even if they fight as incompetently as they do on the video, you want
to stay on your feet.

I think you're likely correct, but it's not a good assumption to make,
and often guys that provoke fights have *some* experience.

That may be self-contradictory.

Sure, and the best arts for that are generally grappling arts. From
there, you employ kicking and striking.

And if you *do* find yourself on the ground, knowing how to stand up
again with the least chance of harm is one of the basics of
Bjj...'standing up in base'. Remember Tuuli...the big Sumo guy in
UFC1? He lost a tooth to Gordeau's foot due to his ignorance of this
basic skill.

The Turkish guy in this clip obviously had some stand-up training and
he used it nicely. He used a jab well and kept his assailants in front
of him. Lucky for him they were clueless. If his assailants were Leroy
and Bubba from the Brownsville projects, it would have been a bad day
for Kemal.

Strawman. Training to have good standup skills is not tantamount to
assuming that the attacker(s) will be incompetent.

Then the BJJers are not using BJJ anymore. BJJ is grappling and ground

This guy is ACTUALLY attacked by three people, and a crowd watches while it
