FUN!

We had such a great time in years past that we're trying to change as
little as possible.

***LOCATION***

Davenport RiverCenter

+ monster space in the heart of the downtown Davenport, the best food,
drink, shows, and gambling in the Midwest.

***SHOW ***

The Capitol Theatre just three blocks from the RiverCenter.

Home of next year's IJA shows

(If you'd like to be in the show please let us know. We're doubling
the pay for performers. That's right! YOU could get FOUR raffle
tickets.)

***PARTY***

Signature Inn Bettendorf, great food, drink, and FREE
BREAKFAST.

+To reserve a room; call them at (563) 355-7575.
Mention the JUGGLEFEST for the best rate.

There's NEVER a charge for registration. You can bring a canned food
donation.

Yes, as part of a shameless ploy we're asking for nonperishable food
donations; part of our "WILL JUGGLE FOR FOOD" campaign.

You'll help out the local food bank and gain good karma.

We'll try to sell you a raffle ticket but juggling is FREE & UNTAXED.

We ran out of time this year and couldn't come up with a spiffy
"SECOND ANNUAL..." so we're skipping shirts this year. If you HAVE to
have a shirt, bring a new one and I'll draw something on it for you.
NO CHARGE!!!

***DIRECTIONS***

+From the headwaters at Lake Itasca, follow The Mighty Mississippi,
Father of Waters, south to the Great River Bend area and watch for
Lock & Dam 15. Take a right just after locking through.

+From the Gulf of Mexico, follow the river north. Turn left just
before Lock & Dam 15.

+If coming by car (dull!) Davenport is half way between Chicago and
Des Moines, near where I-80 and I-74 cross the Mississippi River.
You'll need a map.

+Maps and Festival Fliers should be mailed out to ALL IJA members in
Illinois and Iowa, plus past friends from Wisconsin, Missouri, and
Minnesota by mid-October.

+Club contact people in Illinois, Iowa, and surrounding states will
get copies in early October.

+If you don't fall into one of these categories, send e-mail to one of
the contact people below.

+Since some of the Club listings are so outdated; please drop a line
if you're a new club contact. If you can help spread the word we'll
send you extra copies.

Why have you posted the same message three times? Did you think that on
would not be seen?

Try not to post things multiple times. It gets very boring to read and
cloggs up the system.

Chickenjuggler--

If you look at the dates of the postings, they were posted several
years back. He simply continued his original post from years back and
posted for the first time this time around to inform us of the current
upcoming convention.
I always find it amusing that people read multiple posts, and then
post on rec. to complain that they had to read multiple posts. You
didn't have to read them.
