New trick which I can't put into s.s. form [video]

Hey,

Just earlier today, I was playing around with 3 ball box-type tricks
because I have been getting good at the box lately. Out of nowhere, I
found myself doing this off-beat pattern, which I can not seem to
translate into siteswap, because I can't even tell if this pattern is sync
or async. I'm not good with sync patterns, but all the async patterns I
could think of did not match up with this trick.

Now, being the geek that I am, I decided to make a short video of this
trick about a half hour after I "made it up", so that I could show it to
all you rec. jugglers and see if you can help me put it into siteswap form.

http://www.freewebs.com/staticjuggler/staticsiteswap.WMV

The only thing I know about it is that the 4 is the same ball every time,
and the other two balls do a 2 ball shower, while the 4 is throws in a
column on the side.

Thanks in advance,

Static

Looks like a sort of one sided 441 with a throw instead of a pass. But I
don't really know siteswap. Here'd be my guess, in all its glory: 203 But
if it is sync, then that would be wrong. Get a person who knows siteswap
well in here...

not as fun as i had hoped, the '2 ball shower' desription was wrong, and
that gave me the wrong idea. Yeah like everyone said, it is 4233. But for
your decription i thought of either 5241 or (4x,2)(4,2x) try both of them,
see
if you like them. They were the first tricks i ever 'made up'.

If you want a 2 ball shower type + box type trick, the most obvious one is
4413 which I've always
enjoyed. I'm working on trying to extend it to 662213 with orbits/reverse
orbits on the 2's. I think its
fantastic - most people think its just nuts though...

4233 but have a go at these simple tweaks to it . Miss out or add in a
3, giving 423 and 42333, which is an easy way to get your pattern
looking double sided.
Alternatively, slightly harder but only slightly, and much more
impressive.....throw the vertical ball under the opposite arm instead ( 423
, two sided trick again) .

then think up some more mods yourself.

Given that you can't have odd throws in a synchronous pattern, I'd say
that was somewhat wrong. At a guess the sync version would be
(4,2)(4x,2)(2,4x)*

Whatever... it didn't look sync to me anyway!

I don't have software to look at wmv files, but from the
desciption, it could be 5151612. This is a pattern I kind of
like. It has two balls showering while the third ball goes straight
up alternating from side to side. It is more box (612) like than
any of the other patterns suggested. If this is it, you may also
want to try 51612. In this case, the crossing ball always remains the
same. You can also try 515151612, or other numbers of shower throws
between the direction change.

that video is 4233 its more intersting (IMHO as 423) ie 2 balls do columns
and one pops back and forward - the basis for many other 'tricks'

Thanks to everyone who responded, I figured out it was 4233 today during a
very dull English class.

Do you guys know what the 4 ball version of 4233 would be in siteswap?
(i.e., the one ball goes up and down in a column, and you do 51 at the
same time.

What you are describing I would say is 81717170 or 80171717.

However I would not call this a four ball version of 4233. I would
think it is 5524.

Of course this is just my thoughts, others are free to disagree.
