Things Are Looking Up

Australia should just about win with England requiring 165 from 20 overs and
already five wickets down. Doesn't seem a lot of batting to come. From the
stats it doesn't seem a pitch that is easy to score on.

Of the bowlers for Australia, Watson does not seem to have done much.

ODO's aren't important... nobody cares... England certainly don't.
Bring on the Ashes instead :-)

Cheers,
Jeff.

Given the crowing on the rec group recently you're incorrect.

Very good.

First post on asc for 4 or 5 days.

If Australia manage to beat the Bangles, the group may come to life
again.

Sorry, we English don't recognise ODO's unless we win.
We are very much like Ockers in that respect.

Funny how people don't seem to care about something when they lose, but if
they win then its all important.

Bugger all Aussies give a toss about the ODO tournament, win or lose,
especially as it isn't our local ODO. I don't the Poms are care that much
either.

I think here in Australia we can be a bit that way about certain games
because of the success we have enjoyed over such a long time. But any
Englishman telling you they don't care about it is kidding themselves, they
would enjoyed the victory last week immensely and would not be please about
having the result turned around so dramatically the other night.

You can only not care about wins when they come often, and wins for England
over Australia don't come that often.
