San Fran Bound (Blake, LP, et al)

The town smells like piss, beer, and funnel cakes; it's Mardi Gras
season...and I am out of here. I will be in San Francisco this Friday and
Saturday visiting the Ma' in law and some good friends. Not much surfing
time but I would like to paddle out early Sat morning somewhere near
Blakesville, unless it is schizoid... I have some good hair, don't want it
too mussed up. Could you (all) swing me some inside info on a decent local
shop with board rentals?

Gracias,

Andy

There's three shops in town, I think they all rent foamies. Big, floaty,
BZ style foamies. Aqua at Sloat 1 block off the beach, Wise a block
north from the Beach Chalet (north end OB), and SF Surfshop 3 blocks
from the beach at Noriega.

Based on current forecasts I'd say Friday looks better, possibly
afternoon, I got a funboard with a freaky fin system you could ride...
Saturday looks a little onshorish, not huge, but Friday looks like a
decent head high and under day.

Have fun!

Andy,

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to test drive that
freaky Blakestah fin system and report back!

safe travels,
Surfer Bob
