My Free Picks for today are below and also at:

Arlington Park 9th Race 4:35pm US Eastern Time

Today's Arlington Million is loaded with a ton of talented horses. The
field includes Better Talk Now, the winner of last year's Breeders' Cup
turf race, Powercourt who was second in that race, and two California
horses: Sweet Return, the beast of the West; and Fourty Niners Son,
whose Beyers have been climbing in each race. Then we have:

Kitten's Joy #1 (ML 6-5) the 2004 turf champion and likely favorite,
which he deserves to be. In his 13 lifetime starts, he has won nine
races and was second three times. The only time he was not first or
second was in his debut race. His trainer, Dale Romans, says he's
training better this year and is bigger and stronger.

In his last race, a one-mile event, he ran the last quarter in 22
seconds flat. I'd be a fool not to choose him, with his outstanding
record, as my Key Horse in this race.

Fourty Niners Son #4 (ML 12-1) Although I believe Kitten's Joy is the
best horse in the field, I'm also picking Fourty Niners Son to run
second or, with a good trip, to win the race and pay a big price. In
his last two races, he recorded Beyers of 104 and 105. He was second in
the Grade I Eddie Read behind the California champion, Sweet Return,
who was the lone speed in the race.

Today's race is a different story. There's a ton of speed, which will
benefit Fourty Niners Son. Jockey Cory Nakatani will fly in from
California to ride. He says "he gets better every time I ride him, and
I believe he can beat Kitten's Joy on a dry or a wet surface." Rain is
forecast for the Chicago area today.

Kittens Joy is my top Key Horse choice. Fourty Niners Son is my second
Key Horse pick.

Best of luck today and always to everyone. To your Wealth!
